As we continue through Women's History Month, we take a look at another amazing woman who paved the way; Rosa Parks. She was born on February 4, 1914 in Tuskegee, Alabama. Rosa Parks was an African-American Civil Rights Activist who refused to give up her seat to make room for a white passenger. In doing so she was arrested and convicted, these actions began the Montgomery Bus Boycott. An amazing woman who faced many hardships afterwards, but changed history. Rosa Parks passed away on October 24, 2005 in Detroit, Michigan.Activities:
